About Ben
Ben Hyman, founder of Ben Hyman Music, is a versatile songwriter, producer, and guitarist based in Bergen County, NJ. A musician from the age of four, Ben’s passion for music has shaped a career that blends artistry with technical mastery. Over the years, he’s honed his craft under the guidance of elite instructors from some of the most prestigious music schools in the country, and has collaborated with world-class musicians on both national and international stages.
With over two decades of experience in private music instruction, Ben has developed a uniquely creative and forward-thinking teaching approach. His ability to inspire and connect with students has earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional lessons that go beyond the basics to foster true artistic growth.
Ben is also the co-founder of DAXXiT Music, a cutting-edge recording studio he runs with renowned guitarist and producer Hanan Rubinstein (Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Charlie Puth, Liam Payne). DAXXiT has become a hub for groundbreaking music production, attracting top-tier artists, major record labels, and streaming services. Notably, it served as the studio for the 2023 hit film Mean Girls, where all the film’s music was recorded.
In addition to his work in music production and education, Ben is the Head of Business Development for Bass Magazine, the global authority on bass guitar. In this role, he collaborates with some of the biggest names in the bass community, curating special content, events, and strategic partnerships that continue to elevate the magazine’s influence and reach.
